Hm, just fitted the 1200 guards on me niner today. Didn't read this thread, so I bought the full kit (top+bottom bracket... The works !)... Guards fit like hand in glove, gotta whatch out that they don't get in contact with the fairing at full turn'o handlebars. Not reading this, I ended up setting the throttle cables over the guard (between mirror and bracket), as it seemed the shortes distance to turn the cable housing. Will post a few pics tomorrow, although it does look slightly like the rest of them

Initial thoughts are that the Tenere ones look a millionty and 1 times better and give you a lot more lever/glove clearance also very easy to fit with no machining of ya barends.
Having not rode in the rain with them yet i can't really comment on how good they will be but they seem shallower and i feel the wind more although not had cold hands yet.
To summarize IMHO the DL ones may be more effective against the elements but by fookery the Tenere ones look better and still seem to do a good job

In my opinion they look much better than the Suzuki ones!
Thinking of fitting the Super Ten footpegs and handlebars next, anyone else done ths already?

Have you got any pictures you can share Moose? I'm interested in fitting hand guards but not too strong technically so I'm looking for the easiest option......
