Engine was really easy to remove: Just disconnect all the wires and hoses. Place a wood bock unber the engine. Unscrew all the bolts and lift the frame from the engine.

And by the way, frame didn't had a crack on the inside.

And I've got a naked frame:

I'm gonna sandblast it and repaint it black.

Today was a failure. I tried whole day to get rid of the bolt witch I broke while removing the engine. I tried heat, heat + rostoff ICE, then I drilled the bolt through and tried a special tool for unscrewing broken bolts. I broke this tool and a half of it staid in my engine. Fuck Fuck Fuck.....

How the hell will I get it out of there?

Could you weld a rod onto the broken part and then turn it out ? Or file a couple of flat sides and use a spanner unsure.gif

I've thought on that. It's worth a try.

The lucky part of this is it is a tapered bit that is still in the engine.

For a challenging summer try the

Could you drill it out and tap it out larger,

So when refitting the engine you'd just use a larger bolt?

Easyout is made of very hard and brittle stuff so drilling will be a painful option. Swearing it out didn't work.

At least you can still reach the end of it and it didn't snap flush. Gives you a few options at least.

Tried welding method. It didn't work as this tools metal is not weldable. Welding just snaps off.

Frame and swingarm are sandblasted and primered. Gonna paint them tomorrow (hopefully).
I got my engine mount OK now. There is a M14 thread now.
Hope to upload pictures in this evening

Partly sandblasted frame:

Primed: I used a marine grade primer. It's just the best!

I got my engine monut OK now. Used this tool to cut "around" the bolt.

M14 bolt: I know it's fucking big, but it was the olny way.
