never really thought about top speed before cos I doubt I'll ever see it!! but had the bike on a rolling road having power commander fitted during the week and the "graphic" on the dyno screen showed 143 mph at just over 8000 rpm. I wish I'd checked out the bike speedo to log the the error ! doh.
would the 143 be an accurate figure as it was taken from the rolling road ?? the bike is a 900 with remus revolution alloy (legal) cans.
Lock onto my co-ordinates and beam me up !!

04 900 - 92 mk 1 - r 1150 rs - Z550 A1 - 2x bonnies - plastic slug -XL185 - ...not in that order !! (and one or two i don't want / dare to own up to !!)

143 mph = 230.13 km/h seems too much to me...even with PC and Remus on it...

if it was real, you are a lucky one! wink.gif

It could well be real, but on a rolling road there is no wind resistance, so the real worls speed will be lower.

strange you should say that......spooky but on the dyno, as power is applied the front wheel dives !! If it is an accurate figure thats probably the last time i'll see it !
Is it a coincidence that the pre-run graph trace crosses the new "improved" trace at exactly 4000 rpm (where the deactivated airbox valve would open) ??
Anyway, may be thinking too much about this.....the important bit is the bike is a different beast now. Town speeds need less if any clutch slipping and gear changes and power comes in nice and smooooth....maybe I'll miss the unpredictability tho.....can't win !!
