Good - progress!

Hopefully your mechanic will have web access so can use the photos for guidance!

Any comments on the best replacement tubesets? JBX pages don't have a 4XG (1996) parts list. 3VD (1992) part number for the set is 3GM-14107-17-00, but the 4TX (199) one is 4KM-14107-15-?. At least the "14107" is common to both, so should help find the right item?

Straightline Racing, I think - I'll chase details. I think there's a Carpe discount. Don't order anything yet until we can check. Wicky reckons it's best to use Factory Pro tubes and Yamaha needles? Anyone else care to comment and maybe provide part numbers?

Thanks to eupi for looking in, btw good.gif

hi m8 ,, just a suggestion ,, but before your start spending money replacing parts that may not be worn out ,, check your fuel levels/float height ,, i had a similar problem ,, bike would run fine for 20/40/50 miles then lack of power and running one cylinder,, turned out no1 cylyder was running way to rich ,tinkering with the float height made it like a new bike, not saying for sure thats what your problem is but its worth looking at,,, there is a link on here somewhere as how to adjust the float heights ,, but im a bit drunk just now to find it ,, think it was a link from dapleb, anyway hope that helps,, hope ya get it sorted

Oh but it would be so much better.... smile.gif

Seriously, if we stick to using false names here in the "front shop" of the site, nobody should feel vulnerable and so it should be routine to declare not only your country but district at least. Nobody is asking for GPS coordinates, same as we have a security policy of not revealing street or e-mail addresses, or phone numbers.
