Just a bit of a sensitive point at times - it's the most openly friendly and helpful forum I've come across, and aims for the max regarding support, as Wicky and others have said, so it just gets frustrating, not knowing whether it's relevant to chip in or not if you don't know where the guy needing help is located.

Anyhow, enough before we get into all that again... smile.gif

IF you want to tell location.....tell it.

IF you don't want to tell location.....don't tell it.

IF you want to know someones location......ask them.

If you don't want to know someones location......dont ask them.

Jobs a carrot.....now back to topic...

I had good luck with Factory Pro tubes with Yamaha needles. 20,000 miles on the combo now and still ok. As mentioend before, details of discount in Advertising section.

1) Hence the point CatsBum tried to make - but no matter.

Back to topic...

2) PM'd this recommended combo. a few days ago, after talking with wicky, dandy and emmett.

3) No news yet, though - still uncertainty? How are things, Mechinha?

I don't think it was a question of 'don't want to say'. If so he/she can put down 'Third planet from the sun' or
'In front of my computer' in 'location'. Then we know he/she wants his/her privacy.
I, personnaly, assumed he had just not gotten around to it.

Location can help, if someone has 'Anytown, England' down a carpedian can tell him/her that there is a good/bad mechanic just 2 miles away so they know to go/avoid them. Same with model.... sometimes questions get asked and carpedians can't help because they don't know if it's a Mk1, Mk2, Mk2a, or a 900.

Difficult to tell from the pics. Those marks do look weird! Only way to find out for sure is to ride the thing.
