So as a few of you know I tore down my 92 TDM 850 to repair the trans (3rd gear slipping) and it seems like it is going to cost a bit more to repair than I thought. So in the meantime (while I work for some more money) I am going to do some other projects that I planned to do while it is apart and I am going to need some guidance on some of them.

Here is what I plan to do:

-R1 Fuel pump (lots of info on this forum for this so Ill just search for that one)
-Bondo and repair the fairings (possible repaint/re-sticker)
-Replace Tires (Dual sport tire, but not to aggressive)
-Touch up chipping paint on Engine and Rims (need advice on what paint to use)
-Hand-guards (Also a lot of good info on forum already so I can search this one)
-Replace/Repair Gas Tank (Dented and Kreemed... time to replace?)
-Emulsion tubes or something to fix the carbs (hesitation and wont start when wet)

That's all I can think of right now. So pretty much just need help with the cosmetic touch ups on it.

Kreemed? That white inner liner crap?
REPLACE IT.... Kreem is crap, it will start to flake off and foul your carbs and may even work it's way into the barrels.

Yea haha that white crap. It has held up and compared to the rust that was in there before it seems to be doing ok, but I think its time... if I can find a cheap tank to replace it with.

Did you use their silver gray color like this one?

Spray can or brush?
