As above lads, 2000 4tx, had wheel off and not working now, never had an issue before, re checked wheel position and it's fitted correctly is there something else I'm missing before I start ripping at the weekend.

Tabs on speedo sensor broken or disengaged most likely.
Where it connects to the wheel?
I think the tabs looked ok so wondering if they are broken inside that piece itself or is that whet you mean?

Sometimes the inner cable can loosen a little when you've had the wheel off, so it's then not connected properley behind the clocks !?

Yeah, better to connect at wheel, then connect at speedo as the inner cable can slip out of the speedo.

i'm hoping this is the problem, it does make sense as it worked fine before I had the wheel off
Any luck?
Been crazy busy so hopefully next week
